‘Jurassic Park’ Actor Charged With Kidnapping, Raping 13-Year-Old Girl

A 54-year-old actor was arrested for allegedly kidnapping and raping a 13-year-old girl who approached him for acting lessons, authorities announced Thursday.

Cameron Thor was charged Wednesday with 11 counts of kidnapping, robbery and rape, according to a news release from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

The victim initially consulted Thor about attending acting classes in 2008, the release stated.

After one of the consultations, Thor allegedly drove her to a secluded area in Agoura Hills and sexually assaulted her, investigators said.

The victim was 13 years-old at the time of the sexual assault which continued for nearly a year, the release stated.

Thor was arraigned at the Van Nuys Courthouse on Thursday and was being held on $2,600,000 bail.

An actor with the same name appeared in the films “Jurassic Park,” “Hook” and “A Few Good Men,” according to a listing on the Internet movie database IMDB.
