The pair, who have not been identified by police, were spotted near Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf at Lankershim and Magnolia boulevards during an investigation and immediately detained, said Los Angeles police Lt. Michael Rimkunas.

Police also seized the pair’s vehicle, which contained valuables and other items suspected of being stolen property, he said. It was not immediately clear if the recovered items were stolen from the pop star’s San Fernando Valley home.

Investigators were still interviewing the pair as they tried to sort through the items.
