Mother, Toddler Injured After Being Struck By Car in North Hollywood

A 2-year-old girl was seriously injured after she and her mother were struck by a small car in North Hollywood on Sunday morning, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

The collision occurred around 10:40 a.m. in the 5600 block of Lankershim Boulevard (map), LAFD spokesman Erik Scott said.

Both mother and daughter were rushed to a local hospital, according to an LAFD alert.

The 2-year-old was in serious condition, while the mother was in fair condition, the alert stated.

The driver was not cited or arrested, according to LAPD’s North Hollywood Division.
