Shelter Pets Are Flying To Safety – And Hope To Find A Forever Home With ‘Shelter Me’

50 shelter dogs that were on their way to be euthanized at LA city animal shelters were safely boarded on a private plane at the Van Nuys airport Saturday, to be flown to Washington where they will be adopted into loving homes. This compassionate effort is a partnership with “Shelter Me”, “Wings of Rescue” and “Bark Avenue”. Shelter Me founder Steven Latham joined us to share what Shelter Me is all about, and why it is important for these dog rescue transports.
