Waterwise Gardening With Armstrong Garden Centers

This summer, KTLA has partnered with the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California to help raise awareness about our drought with information, products and services.  It is a 12-week campaign.  Armstrong Garden Centers was here with its Become Waterwise workshops that are happening this summer at all of their locations in California

Darin Engh, Regional Manager of Armstrong Garden Centers demonstrated several tips for watering yards and plants and soil care.

Tips include: Best ways and techniques to save water this summer;  What are the best colorful, heat-loving, low-water plants;  Creating different colors and textures with cacti/succulents in containers;  What are the basic care tips for cacti/succulents

July 12 at 9 a.m. – Waterwise Gardening
July 26 at 9 a.m. – Growing Cacti and Succulents

Both classes are free to the public at every Armstrong Garden Centers location, no RSVP required
