A chance discovery at a Goodwill store in Indiana revealed a lifetime of irreplaceable moments in the life of a family still stored on an RCA video camera donated years ago.

A soldier looking for a camera to record his own family’s memories found the tapes, which he said were filled with family vacations, birthdays, a newborn meeting his big brother for the first time and a family carving pumpkins at Halloween, according to The WAVE.

Sgt. First Class Joe Lynch said he was now making it his mission to find the family and return the tapes.

Anyone with information was urged to call 502-585-2201.
