Oceanographer Sylvia Earle and Director Fisher Stevens joined us live to talk about the Netflix documentary 'Mission Blue.'

MISSION BLUE is an original documentary film that will premiere on Friday, August 15 in theaters in New York and Los Angeles and on Netflix in territories where Netflix is available. MISSION BLUE is legendary oceanographer Dr. Sylvia Earle's eye opening wake-up call to save the ocean. The film follows Dr. Earle on her global quest to protect the ocean - and the extraordinary marine life that calls it home - from the powerful forces of pollution, overfishing and climate change. The film also sheds light on Dr. Earle's remarkable personal story and professional journey. MISSION BLUE is directed by Fisher Stevens ("The Cove") and Robert Nixon ("Gorillas in the Mist").
