A gunman was being sought Sunday after a shooting on the 60 Freeway in Jurupa Valley that left one person dead and two others injured.
California Highway Patrol and Riverside County Sheriff's Department officials responded around 11 p.m. Saturday to reports of gunfire on the freeway near the Valley Way off-ramp , an official said.
Three victims and a white sedan with shooting damage to the windows was found upon arrival.
Both sides of the freeway were closed. The eastbound side was quickly reopened, and the two left lanes on the westbound side were reopened around 6 a.m.
The condition of the two injured victims was unknown as of 7 a.m.
