The Imagination Foundation, a non-profit organization, has partnered with The Boxtrolls for series of national events to promote creativity as well as the Global Cardboard Challenge on October 11.  It launched from the viral short film Caine's Arcade about a boy in Boyle Heights who makes an elaborate arcade out of cardboard boxes. The Boxtrolls Cardboard Challenge wants kids everywhere to build whatever they can dream up using cardboard, recycled materials and imagination.
