Gayle Anderson was live at the DISCOVERY CUBE LOS ANGELES, a new interactive science center taking shape on the site of the former Children’s Museum of Los Angeles in the Lake View Terrace neighborhood, opens Thursday, November 13, 2014!

DISCOVERY CUBE LOS ANGELES is the second campus of the Discovery Science Foundation. Located in the Hansen Dam Recreational Area, this two-story, 71,000 square-foot center will be the first major museum in the San Fernando Valley and will offer an exhibit and program mix exclusive to Los Angeles.

Along with the Discovery Cube Orange County, DISCOVERY CUBE LOS ANGELES is part of the Discovery Science Foundation’s plan to expand STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) proficiency, early childhood learning, healthy living and environmental stewardship in Southern California through engaging science-based programs and exhibits that create a meaningful impact on the communities they serve.

DISCOVERY CUBE LOS ANGELES opens Thursday, November 13th from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Grand opening tickets are available for $10 for adults, seniors and children (ages 3-14). Admission for Museum members and children 2 and under is FREE. To purchase tickets, click HERE.

Once open, The Cube’s normal operating hours will be daily from 10am – 5pm year-round except for Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. Tickets are $16.95 or adults, $12.95 for seniors (62+) and children (ages 3-14). Admission for Museum members and children 2 and under is FREE.
