A 21-year-old Target employee in Canyon Country was charged with a misdemeanor after a woman placed him under citizen’s arrest when he allegedly “peeped” into a changing room with an electronic device, officials said Saturday.

Ricky Alexander Torres was arrested around 5:20 p.m. Friday at 19105 Golden Valley Rd. (map), Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Sgt. Richard Cohen said.

Torres allegedly put an electronic device in a changing room when the female occupant made a citizen’s arrest.

He was held inside the store until officials arrived.

Torres was being held in lieu of $10,000 bail and was scheduled to appear in court Monday, Sheriff’s Deputy Guzman said.

Sheriff’s Department officials did not plan to release Torres’ mug shot.
