Video shot from a drone captured a stunning bird's eye view of an eye-catching Christmas lights display in the suburbs of Richmond, Virginia, recently.

Al and Esther Thompson have been lighting up their Glen Allen home since 1999.

This year, they adorned their home with more than 170,000 lights, and nearly 800 homemade decorations, according to CNN.

In total, it took the couple 537 hours to put the entire display up.

The video capturing the impressive display was shot by Daryl Watkins, a local photographer.

CNN contributed to this report.
