A woman and her three grandsons died Friday morning in a house fire in Ohio.

The victims were identified by KTLA’s sister station KFOR as 60-year-old Terry Harris, 14-year-old Kenyon Harris, 11-year-old Broderick Harris, and 9-year-old Braylon Harris.

Firefighters in Fayette County said the children were spending the night with their grandmother because they didn’t want her to be alone on Christmas, according to TV station WCMH in Columbus.

The children’s parents lived just two houses away, WCMH reported.

They ran to the house after spotting the flames, but it was too late.

Firefighters had not determined the cause of the fire, but said there were no smoke detectors in the home, the station reported.
