Two Adults, Two Children Hospitalized After Fire in South Los Angeles

Two adults and two children were rescued from the second story of a burning commercial building in South Los Angeles on Wednesday evening.

The fire was reported around 6:30 p.m. at a two-story business in the 6000 block of Broadway Street, according to Los Angeles Fire Department’s Brian Humphrey.

The victims were all transported to the hospital with minor injuries including smoke inhalation, said Humphrey.

It was not clear why the victims were inside the building.

The cause of the fire was still under investigation.
