Woman Found Stabbed to Death Across From Police Station in Pacoima

Detectives were investigating the circumstances surrounding the discovery of a woman's body across the street from a police station in Pacoima on Wednesday evening.

The body was found around 7:15 p.m. between a car wash and a 7-Eleven store near the intersection of Osborne Street and San Fernando Road, according to Sgt. Scott Kennedy with the Los Angeles Police Department.

The victim was described only as a female Hispanic in her 30s, said Kennedy.

The cause of death was believed to be the result of stab wounds, according to Kennedy.

No other information was released.
