Police were searching for an armed man who robbed a Black Angus restaurant in Northridge early Sunday.

The man was wielding a shotgun when he walked into the restaurant located in the 9100 block of Corbin Avenue (map) before 12:50 a.m. and demanded money, Lt. Robertson of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Devonshire Station said.

The employees complied and handed over an unknown amount of cash, according to Robertson.

He then fled the scene.

Police have not released a detailed description of the wanted man.

No injuries were reported in the incident, which occurred after the restaurant had closed for the night.
