Ian Caldwell is the author of the critically acclaimed and New York Time- bestselling Vatican thriller titled: THE FIFTH GOSPEL. Critics call this book a backstage pass into the world’s smallest and most secretive country: the Vatican. THE FIFTH GOSPEL is based on years of research, hundreds of documents in multiple languages, and interviews with priests who trained or worked at the Holy See.  In 2004, Caldwell’s thriller The Rule of Four (written with Dustin Thomason) became an international phenomenon: it sold 2 million copies and was translated into 35 languages.
