Surveillance video released Friday showed a security guard being shoved by one of three men who were attempting to flee a Beverly Grove business following a robbery.
The incident occurred Monday evening about 8:30 p.m. when the three men entered the business located in the 8400 block of Beverly Boulevard (map) and allegedly stole an iPhone and an iPhone 6 plus, according to a news release from the Los Angeles Police Department.
The video showed the men entering the store and then walking out of view of the camera.
At that point, they allegedly went up to a display, removed the phones and then attempted to run out of the store, according to the news release.
Two of the men were able to run out the door, but the third man was stopped inside the store by a security guard, the video showed.
After a few moments, the video showed the man rush the security guard and shove him out of the way so he could escape.
The man who shoved the security guard was described as black, between the ages of 25 and 30. He stands about 6 feet tall and weighs about 150 pounds, according to the news release.
He was wearing a New York Yankee baseball hat, white sweatshirt with a California flag logo on front and gray pants with white shoes.
The other men were identified as "Suspect #1" and "Suspect #2" in the news release.
"Suspect #1" was described as a black man, between 25 and 30 years old with long braided hair. He was about 6 feet 1 inch tall and weighed about 150 pounds.
He was wearing a white shirt, gray sweat pants, white Nike shoes and a Dodger hat. He also had tattoos on both arms and neck, according to the Police Department.
"Suspect #2" was said to be a black man, between 25 and 30 years old. He was about 6 feet tall and weighed about 150 pounds.
He was seen in video wearing a black beanie, gray shirt with the word "CROOKS" on the front, black pants and black high top shoes.
Their vehicle was described as a black 2013 to 2015 Honda Civic 4 door with paper plates.
The Police Department has asked the public for help in identifying the men in the video.
