Man Sought in Brazen Daylight Residential Burglary in Westwood

Police were asking for the public's help Wednesday to identify the man responsible for a residential break-in and burglary that was captured on security video.

It happened around 1 p.m. on April 21 in the 700 block of South Beverly Glen Boulevard in Westwood.

The video shows the man forcing his way into the residence through the rear bedroom door. He could be seen taking the victim’s property from the top dresser drawer and then leaving the same way he entered.

He was described as being of medium height with short dark hair.

He was wearing a white long sleeved button-up shirt, blue jeans, dark backpack with the “Air Jordan” logo.

Anyone with information about this incident was asked to call West Los Angeles Area Detective Guevara at 310-444-1522 or 310-444-1523.  During non-business hours or on the weekends, calls should be directed to 1-877-LAPD-24-7.
