Lays 4 Finalists ‘Do Us a Flavor’ Chips

In January, the Lay’s brand announced the return of the iconic Lay’s “Do Us A Flavor” contest in the United States. The contest invited fans nationwide to submit their ideas for the next great Lay’s potato chip flavor for the chance to win a $1 million grand prize. This year, the Lay’s brand asked fans to include the location that inspired their potential million-dollar idea; submissions showed inspiration drawn from favorite locations across the U.S. – from hometowns to favorite travel locations. The contest has been narrowed down to four finalists, representing four flavorful cities and towns across the country. Nick Lachey traveled to each of the finalists’ homes to surprise them and inform them that they are a finalist, competing for the $1 million grand prize:

Lay’s Southern Biscuits and Gravy – created by Hailey Green from Noblesville, Ind.

Lay’s New York Reuben – created by Jeff Solensky from DuBois [DOO-boys], Pa.

Lay’s Kettle Cooked Greektown Gyro – created by James Wagner from Wichita Falls, Texas

All four finalist flavors are currently on store shelves in grocery stores nationwide. Now it’s up to potato chip fans across the country to vote for the finalist flavor they want to see stay on store shelves after the contest ends. From July 27 through October 18, consumers can vote once each day per platform for their favorite finalist flavor through:
