As an 18-year-old man was recovering from a gunshot wound, police in Pomona were searching for the gunman who shot him outside an apartment building on Saturday.
Officers responding to a report of a shooting shortly after 12:30 a.m. at the apartment complex -- which is located in the 900 block of West Ninth Street -- arrived to find the teenage victim in the courtyard, according to a news release from the Pomona Police Department.
