New Jersey rapper Fetty Wap reportedly was injured Saturday in a traffic accident in his hometown of Paterson while riding his motorcyle. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment, according to various media reports.

TMZ reported the incident and multiple photos have been posted to Twitter and Instagram, apparently showing the injured but conscious rapper being lifted into an ambulance and attended to by emergency response personnel. TMZ and Hot New Hip Hop Report cited witnesses saying the rapper was hit by a car, possibly while he was trying to pass it.

Officials at the Paterson Police Department told The Times on Saturday afternoon that they had no information on any such incident.

DJ Louie Styles tweeted a photo of Wap, whose given name is Willie Maxwell, sitting upright on a gurney, his left leg in a brace and his knee appearing badly bruised.
