Joseph Hennings, of Murrieta, was identified by Riverside County coroner’s officials.

A 35-year-old woman remained in custody in connection with the fatal incident.

Amanda Harwood, of Big Bear, was arrested Friday and booked into the Southwest Detention Center on suspicion of murder, according to a news release from the Sheriff’s Department. Her bail was set at $1,000,000.

Menifee police officers responded about 6:07 p.m. to a report of a shooting at a restaurant in the 28000 block of Bradley Drive, the statement said. They arrived to find a deceased man inside the establishment, which the The Press-Enterprise reported was a McDonald’s location.

Harwood was “immediately located” and taken into custody, the Sheriff’s Department said.

Investigators from the agency’s Central Homicide Unit and the Menifee Police Department went to the scene and assumed the investigation.
