A 36-year-old woman claimed Monday that she was on a Halloween party bus ride two years ago when she suffered injuries that cost her $300,000 in medical bills.

Lauren Guerra told KTLA she was on the upper level of the double-decker bus when she was hit in the head by a tree branch, fracturing the orbital bone around her eye.

Guerra said the injury left her with permanent double vision and eyes that are no longer symmetrical.

Kacey Montoya reports for the KTLA 5 News at 10 on Monday, Oct. 26, 2015.
