Four juveniles were injured, including a teenager who was airlifted to the hospital, after a vehicle crashed into a Party City store in San Dimas Saturday afternoon, according to sheriff's officials.
The crash happened around 12:08 p.m. at a Party City located at 852 West Arrow Hwy, Los Angeles County Fire Department officials said. She was not cited or arrested.
A 35-year-old woman lost control of her car in the store's parking lot and crashed through the front window, Lt. Edwards with the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department's San Dimas station said.
There were conflicting reports of the extent of the injuries in the collision. Fire officials initially said four juveniles had sustained minor injuries, but later said they suffered traumatic injuries. The Sheriff's Department said a 14-year-old girl was moderately injured, while the three other victims were treated at the scene for minor injuries and released.
The girl was airlifted to Los Angeles County - USC Medical Center. Details on her condition were not provided.
It was also not known where the four victims were located when they were injured.
The driver of the vehicle was among those treated at the scene, as were an unknown number of other occupants in the car, Edwards said.
Video taken by a Party City patron and posted on Instagram showed the car at least halfway inside the store and covered shelves and merchandise following the crash.
The cause of the incident as well as the extent of the damage was under investigation.
