One person was in custody after a woman was killed Wednesday night in what Inglewood police called a “domestic homicide.”

Officers responded to a report of shots fired at the intersection of Inglewood Avenue and Olive Street around 7:45 p.m. and located the female victim, according to Lt. Gabriela Garcia of the Inglewood Police Department.

She was later pronounced dead. Authorities have not released her identity.

An unidentified person was in custody in connection with the domestic incident, Garcia said. The lieutenant did not comment on the pair’s exact relationship.
