Ryan Eric Galliher, 33, was employed as an LAPD officer at the time of the crimes, which began on Feb. 27, 2014, when Galliher exposed himself to the 12-year-old girl in the Bolsa Chica wetlands area and asked her to touch his penis, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office stated in a news release.

About two weeks later, Galliher approached the same girl near Bolsa Chica Street in Huntington Beach and exposed himself again.

Before he was arrested in October of 2014, Galliher exposed himself to four other women in Huntington Beach and was seen masturbating in an open parking lot on Bolsa Chica Street, according to the news release.

Jurors found Galliher guilty of one felony count of attempted lewd act upon a child under 14 years old, one felony count of contacting a minor with the intent to commit a lewd act, six misdemeanor counts of indecent exposure, and one misdemeanor count of engaging in lewd conduct.

Galliher faces up to four years in state prison and mandatory lifetime sex offender registration.

His sentencing was scheduled for Dec. 18.
