Gayle Anderson was live in Pasadena and Irwindale to continue her KTLA ROSE PARADE PREVIEW.

New to the Tournament of Roses Parade, the SOUTH DAKOTA and City of GLENDALE floats.  The South Dakota Float  is a partnership with the U.S. National Park Service, which will help shine a light on the centennial celebration of our country’s national parks. Coincidentally, 2016 is also the 75th anniversary of the completion of Mount Rushmore National Memorial in SOUTH DAKOTA.

At Fiesta Parade Floats in Irwindale, Gayle learned about the Wells Fargo Bank closing show activities and to meet with the NEW DIRECTIONS VETERANS CHOIR, an award-winning a cappella group comprised of veterans who served in the United States Military, but whose struggles following their service left them homeless. Thanks to New Directions for Veterans (NDVets), an organization that helps homeless veterans, choir members were able to access services that enabled them to get their lives back on track.
