SoCal Edison Worker Electrocuted During Service Call in Paramount Is ID’d
A Southern California Edison worker who was killed during a service call in Paramount was identified Thursday.
Jeffrey Moon, 26, died Wednesday in the 15000 block of California Street, according to the Los Angeles County coroner’s office.
Moon was part of a group that responds first to service calls, said SoCal Edison’s Steve Conroy.
It was not immediately known how he was electrocuted during the call.
Witnesses told KTLA it was drizzling in the area at the time and he may have slipped
Andrew Miller, who witnessed the incident, said his heart went out to the man’s family.
“It’s kind of sad. It’s like my dad going out there, trying to work, and then not coming home,” Miller said.
