Gayle Anderson was live in Los Angeles with a preview of the 31st Annual Martin Luther King Jr. “Kingdom Day Parade,” which features marching bands, soul food stalls and arts oriented festivities. Presented by the Congress of Racial Equality of California (CORE-CA), this year’s parade theme is “Our Work Is Not Yet Done.”

The parade route starts at Western Avenue and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and ends at Crenshaw Boulevard and Vernon Avenue. You can view a map of the parade route by clicking HERE. Parade staging and line-up is from 5:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. Parade launch is at 10:15 a.m. Parade television time is 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on KABC, Channel 7.
