Fans can be added to a waiting list by placing a refundable $100 deposit on the team’s website WelcomeHomeRams.com beginning at 10 a.m., the team announced in a news release early Monday.

“Members on the waiting list will be able to purchase tickets before the general public based on when the deposit was received,” the news release read.

Making a deposit allows the account holder to purchase up to eight season tickets, the team stated.

Coliseum season ticket holders will also be given the first opportunity to purchase seats in the team’s new Inglewood Stadium, which was scheduled to open for the 2019 season, before the general public, according to the news release.

More than 5,000 deposits were sold by 10:05 a.m., the Rams tweeted.

“Keep trying. It’ll be worth it,” the tweet continued.

The Rams thanked fans for their patience, as Ticketmaster experienced “a very high volume of requests.”

One man reported waiting on the website 24 minutes before he was able to pay the deposit.
