Police in Glendale were investigating a pair of home break-ins in the same neighborhood that were believed to be related.

The first break-in occurred Tuesday night at a home in Glendale's Rancho San Rafael Neighborhood.

Less than a half hour later, another neighbor just a few blocks away told police a thief got away with 30-thousand dollars worth of jewelry from his home.

In both cases, the intruder allegedly got into the home through a window.
