Quadruple Shooting Leaves 1 Dead, 3 Wounded in Willowbrook; Shooter at Large

Sheriff’s detectives on Sunday continued to investigate a quadruple shooting in Willowbrook that left one man dead and three others wounded, including a girl, authorities said.

The shooting took place about 8:45 p.m. Saturday in the 12800 block of Cook Street, according to a statement from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

Deputies responded to a call reporting an assault with a deadly weapon at the location. They arrived to find a man lying on the sidewalk, suffering from gunshot wounds to his torso, the news release said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Two men and a girl, also struck by gunfire, were transported to a hospital, the Sheriff’s Department said. Their injuries were described as not life-threatening.

No other information about the victims was released by authorities.

A description of the shooter was not immediately available.
