One Wounded in Car-to-Car Shooting on 5 Freeway Overpass in Burbank

Burbank police were investigating a possible car-to-car shooting on an overpass to the 5 Freeway that left one man wounded Monday night.

The shooting occurred around 7:45 p.m. on the Burbank Boulevard overpass on the I-5, according to the Burbank Police Department.

After being wounded, the victim drove himself to the 1700 block of Grismer Avenue, police said.

He suffered a gunshot wound to the upper body and was taken to Los Angeles County USC Medical Center in unknown condition, according to police.

No information was released about the suspect's vehicle.
