Taylor Swift Fires Back at Kanye West in Grammys Acceptance Speech

Taylor Swift shamed Kanye West without even uttering his name during her acceptance speech for Album of the Year at the 58th Grammy Awards on Monday night.

The 26-year-old singer and the 38-year-old rapper have an infamous history thanks to West’s famous rushing of the stage during her acceptance speech at the 2009 VMAs when he said, “Yo, Taylor, I’m really happy for you, I’m [going to] let you finish — but Beyoncé had one of the best videos of all time.”

Then, just last week, West played his new album at a New York fashion show. It features a song titled “Famous,” which contains the lyric, “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex, I made that … famous.”

Swift, however, made swift work of West and his misogynistic behavior in a  speech that said everything without stating the obvious.
