Death of Baby Boy Investigated in Inglewood Area: Sheriff’s Department

Homicide detectives were investigating the death of an infant in the Inglewood area on Thursday, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

Detectives responded to reports of a baby not breathing in the 4000 block of West 105th Street, bordering the Lennox neighborhood, around 11:40 p.m. Wednesday, a news release stated.

The infant was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.

His cause of death was expected to be determined by the Los Angeles County coroner’s office.
