Gayle Anderson was live in Long Beach with a preview of the 2016 HEALTHY PET EXPO happening this Saturday, April 16th, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Whittier Narrows Park in South El Monte. This is the second annual expo organized by the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health to promote healthy pets in healthy families.

Services for pets and their owners include:

  • FREE and low cost vaccines – (Rabies vaccines are FREE other vaccines are $10)
  • FREE spay/neuter – Must email PetExpo@ph.lacounty.gov to get phone numbers for pre-booking
  • FREE veterinary consult at our Ask-A-Vet booth
  • Pet adoptions
  • Preventive care – heartworm test $20; deworming $10
  • Educational booths for all attendees, and more!
