Cant’ make it? We can still make a difference by making a $5.00 donation, which will fund two cleanup volunteers by providing them with educational training and cleanup supplies. $10.00 doubles our impact and fund four cleanup volunteers.

This is the last weekend we can visit the Wattles Mansion and Gardens. For the first time, the City of Los Angeles is permitting a designer showcase. The theme is ‘Hollywood, The First 100 Years’. Designers are using past movies or Hollywood stars as inspiration for the rooms they have designed.
Wattles Mansion is a 1908 Mission Revival built by the firm of Myron Hunt and Elmer Grey (Rose Bowl, Huntington Library & Ambassador Hotel). The house has been recognized as “the only remaining intact example of the once plentiful Hollywood estates from the period preceding the film industry”. Gurdon Wattles, originally from Omaha Nebraska, was responsible for bankrolling much of early Hollywood and the movie studios.
We can tour the one-of-a-kind property now through April 17th. Check the website for tour times and ticket information.
