El Monte police released these photos of Emily Lynn Moon and her two sons, who she is suspected of abducting from a McDonald's on May 20, 2016.

El Monte police believe a woman abducted her two children during a supervised visit at a McDonald’s, officials said Sunday.

The boys, 10 and 6, were dropped off by their father for a supervised visit with their mother at a McDonald’s in the 11600 block of Valley Boulevard about noon on Saturday, according to the El Monte Police Department.

The mother, Emily Lynn Moon, 32, apparently left the restaurant with the boys while the designated monitor left for a moment.

The monitor then reported the abduction.

Authorities believe Moon might have taken the boys to her home in Lake Elsinore, but do not believe they are in any danger, officials said.

She is described as being 5 feet tall, weighing about 98 pounds with blond hair and hazel eyes.

Anyone with information about the Moon or the missing children can call the El Monte Police Department at 626-580-2114.
