A preliminary magnitude-3.5 earthquake struck Monday evening about 4 miles north-northwest of Rancho Cucamonga, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The quake struck at 7:28 p.m. at a depth of 6.2 miles, the USGS said.

The epicenter was 1 mile northeast of  San Antonio Heights, according to the USGS.
