Anything but romantic -- a bite from the 'kissing bug' could lead to a life-threatening illness. That's because the kissing bug is a transmitter of Chagas Disease, a disease that is one of the top three causes of heart failure worldwide.

Here at home in California, doctors are urging people get tested, not only because the kissing bug is here, but because those who have Chagas don't know it...until it's too late.
