An on and off ramp of northbound 405 Freeway near LAX will be closed Saturday through Sunday for roadway improvements, according to CalTrans.

The West Century Boulevard northbound ramps will be closed, but the southbound ramps will remain open. The boulevard will also be closed from La Cienega Boulevard to Felton Avenue in both directions, officials said.

The closures began on Friday and will reopen at 5 a.m. Monday, according to Caltrans.

Detour signs diverting motorists to Manchester Boulevard will be posted. Caltrans officials encourage passengers, employees and bus operators to allow extra time to travel to and from the airport.
