Los Angeles Bicyclist Crashes Bike, Falls 20 Feet; L.A. Fire Department Performs Rescue

A man crashed his bicycle and fell 20 feet down to the Los Angeles River on Saturday night, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Firefighters performed a litter basket operation at 802 E. Chavez Avenue near the L.A. River to save the man.

The bicyclist is alert and speaking, with unspecified injuries.
