The vandal has struck mostly at night, prompting calls to report shattered windows to vehicles, businesses and homes, the Fullerton Police Department stated in a public advisory posted over the weekend.

“There have been 76 incidents since June,” police Sgt. Jon Radus told the Orange County Register. “15 of those incidents were this weekend.”

No description of the vandal was available but investigators believe a vehicle seen on the west side of the city may be linked to the person.

The car was described as either a white four-door sedan or a silver BMW.

Police are "seeking information on a BB gun or pellet bandit that has wreaked havoc in the Fullerton area over the past few months,” the department stated in a Facebook post.

Anyone with information was asked to contact the Police Department at 714-738-6716.
