High Surf, Rip Current Warning Issued for Southern California Beaches

Though Tropical Storm Hillary and Hurricane Irwin — both brewing off the coast of Baja Mexico — won't be hitting Southern California directly, their impacts will be felt through high tides and strong rip currents at Los Angeles-area beaches, according to the National Weather Service.
