Weekend Heatwave Expected to Bring Fire Danger to Southern California; Surf Advisories Also Issued

The National Weather Service was warning Southern Californians about a weekend heatwave expected to bring temperatures up to 100 degrees in inland areas and create a fire hazard. Coastal areas were also cautioned about dangerous rip currents that could lead to an increased risk of drowning. Erin Myers reports for the KTLA 5 Morning News at 7 on Oct. 7, 2017.
