Driver Surrenders to Police After Slow-Speed Pursuit in San Fernando Valley

Authorities were pursuing a driver in the San Fernando Valley area Thursday morning before he surrendered near a high school in Pacoima.

The driver was leading at least 10 LAPD vehicles on a slow-speed pursuit. He was seen throwing items out of the vehicle, aerial video showed.

About 8:40 a.m. the driver got out of his car and surrendered to authorities near San Fernando High School and was taken into custody.
