Authorities received a burglary in progress call about 12:30 a.m. from a resident in the 3700 block of 106th Street, Inglewood Police Department Lt. Cochran said.

Arriving officers heard gunshots coming from a home and saw someone running away from the location.

Inside the home, officers found a 25-year-old man dead and two women injured.

The man has not been identified.

Both women were taken to a local hospital and were listed in stable condition, Inglewood Mayor James Butts said.

Officers took one of the suspected intruders into custody near the intersection of West 105th Street and Yukon Avenue South.

A second man was found in the laundry room of a house in the 3700 block of West 106th Street.

Finally, officers took a third suspect into custody near Doty Avenue and West 105th Street.

The shooting appeared to be gang related, Butts said.

Police later stated the three in custody are all 18th Street gang members.
