The defense attorney for novelist Michael Peterson — convicted of killing his wife at their North Carolina mansion in 2001 — explains the defense that eventually got Peterson a lesser manslaughter charge that allowed him to be released from prison during an interview with KTLA in Hollywood on Thursday.
