Pedestrian Killed After Being Hit by Two Cars in Fullerton

Fullerton police are investigating an incident in which a man was killed when he was hit by two cars on Saturday.

Police were called to the 200 block of West Orangethorpe Avenue on a report of a pedestrian struck around 5:15 p.m.

Upon arrival, officers found a man in the street with significant injuries. Officers attempted lifesaving measures, but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

The preliminary investigation indicates the man had been walking across Orangethorpe Avenue, outside of a crosswalk, when he was hit by a red 2015 Nissan Versa and a blue 2015 Nissan Rogue.

Police said all parties involved are cooperating with investigators.

It does not appear that drugs or alcohol are a factor, police noted, but the investigation is ongoing.
